Using Design180®, NavigatorMD plays a critical role in our revenue growth, client acquisition and client retention. The software offers expansive efficiencies for empirical data analysis, providing vital resources in determining ideal strategies for plan modeling, cost savings and wellness program implementation.
Within 13 months of offering Navigator's software capabilities, we acquired six new clients for a 39% increase in our book of business. There are five additional committed clients in our pipeline, resulting in the potential to acquire ten accounts within 16 months of using the Design180® system. The combination of closed and committed new business acquisitions translates into a 76% increase in annualized revenue.
Using Design180®, we are able to provide analyses and consulting to our clients that clearly separates us from our competition and has played a critical role in winning these accounts. Five of the first six accounts mentioned primarily credit our use of Design180® as a forceful advantage over our competition.
NavigatorMD has changed the way we do business as well as the way that employers approach their benefit plans. Aside from acquiring new accounts, Design180® plays a large role in client retention. Our proficient use of Design180® allows us to develop effective plan strategies to better suit our clients' employee populations. In this relatively short timeframe, we have already achieved extraordinary success. In one instance, we were able to successfully redesign a client's heath care plan that resulted in nearly $1.7 million in savings after one year of implementing our plan recommendations and wellness strategies.
In addition to front-end plan modifications and wellness initiatives, we have been able to use claims analysis in year-over-year comparisons to illustrate the returns on investments of proposed recommendations to measure the efficacy of our strategies. Likewise, we are able to run customized reports providing information supporting the direct and indirect results of our proposals.
